Wilda Marie Petersen

Funeral services for Wilda Marie Petersen, 86, were held Wednesday, November 15, 1995, at 1:30 P.M. at the Independent Order of Odd Fellows Hall, Walnut and 16th Streets, Wheatland, Wyoming, with Pastor Roger Ludwig of Worldwide Church of God officiating. Interment was in the Iowa Flats Cemetery near Chugwater.

Mrs. Petersen died Saturday, November 11, 1995, at the Life Center in Casper.

She was born February 13, 1909, in Westover, Pennsylvania, the daughter of A. K. and Mary Jane (Clark) Corson. She moved to Wyoming in 1920, and lived in various places until settling in Wheatland where she lived for the past 30 years. In 1994, she moved to the Life Care Center in Casper to be near her son. On June 15, 1952, she married Howard M. Petersen in Torrington. They lived in Laramie Peak area for 10 years. She enjoyed making quilts, sewing, and gardening. She was a member of the Worldwide Church of God.

Wilda is survived by her husband, Howard M. Petersen of Wheatland; two sons, Ray Clamp of Casper and George Clamp of Wheatland; one brother, Howard Corson of Arizona, ten grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and two great-great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; fourteen brothers and sisters; and two grandchildren.

Serving as pallbearers were Steven Clamp, Curtis Clamp, Scott Clamp, Joseph Clamp Larry Montgomery and Grant Ward. All of her many friends were honorary pallbearers. Memorial to the World wide Church of God, 21 Cozad Road, Wheatland, Wyo. 82201, would be appreciated by the family.

The Platte Funeral Chapel of Wheatland is in charge of arrangements.
