Glen Riley (80) Dies, Conduct Funeral Tues.

Funeral service was held Tuesday for Glen Edward Riley, 80, who died April 21 at his home in Lusk.

The Rev. Robert Boutwell conducted the service at 2:00 p.m. at the Peet Chapel with burial at the Lusk Cemetery. Mrs. Judson P. Watson, organist, accompanied the soloist, Wayne King as he sang "In Times Like These" and "Sweet Bye and Bye."

Honorary pallbearers were Frank Kuhn, Ed Boner, Harry Baars, Henry Wasserburger, Sr., John Goddard, Eddie Plumb, Roger Percival, Jim Boner, Frank Christian.

Casket bearers were John Jassman, Ralph Hanson, Ernie Hansen, L. T. Bonner, Dean Plumb, Harry Tollman, A. F. DeCastro and Walter Schnorenberg, Jr.

Mr. Riley was born October 17, 1891, in Parnell, Mo. In 1912 Mr. and Mrs. Riley were married at Maryville, Mo., and February 21 of this year celebrated 60 years of marriage.

In his early years Mr. Riley farmed in Missouri, Nebraska and Colorado. He operated a grocery business, Riley's Market, in Lusk for 16 years, retiring in 1967. At the time of his death he operated the pool room in Lusk.

Survivors include his widow Pearl, four sons, Ray, Rosebud, Ark., Frank, Ogden, Utah, Clyde, Gering, Neb., Kenneth, Las Vegas, Nev.; two daughters, Mrs. Blanche Lundy, Las Vegas, Nev. and Mrs. Clayton (Opal) George, Glenrock, one brother Elmer, Shenandoah, Iowa; two sisters, Bertha Wilson, Hopkins, Mo., and Ruby Roush, Ravenwood, Mo.; 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
