Warren H. Schroefel

Warren H. Schroefel, Lusk, died Monday at Niobrara County Nursing Home following a long illness. Graveside service was conducted this Wednesday morning at 10:30 at the Lusk Cemetery with The Rev. Frank Bozart officiating.

Warren Schroefel was born May 1, 1918, at Lusk, the only son of Edward and Esther Schroefel. He grew up in Lusk and enlisted in the United States Navy, serving during World War II. He and Martha Jordan were married.

Mr. Schroefel who spent the major part of his life ranching north of Lusk was a member of the Wyoming Highway Patrol for five years. He was a past commander of Wieten-Dupes Post of the American Legion.

He is survived by a son Warren E. Schroefel of Casper and a daughter Gloria of Phoenix, Ariz., and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one daughter.
