Dorothy L. Wasserburger

Dorothy L. Wasserburger, age 86 years, of Harrison, Neb. passed away at her home on Friday, Dec. 8, 2006.

Graveside services were held Tuesday, Dec. 12, at Montrose, Nebraska, northeast of Harrison, Nebraska.

Dorothy Leona Wasserburger was born March 23, 1920 to Chris & Henrietta (O'Connell) Wasserburger. She grew up on her folks ranch 20 miles northeast of Harrison. Dorothy and her sister Delores moved into Harrison in the early 1960's.

Dorothy did beautiful handwork, embroidering, crocheting and making dolls. After moving to Harrison she took in ironing for many people and did a beautiful job.

Dorothy was a hard worker, a wonderful cook and never complained about anything.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother and sister in-law Norbert and Mabel Wasserburger, sister Delores Wasserburger and both sets of grandparents.

Survivors include her two nieces and their families, Lois and Roland Molitor, of Rushville, Neb. and Virginia and Elmus Corbin of Harrison, Neb.; and many cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established for the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Harrison and the little Country Church at Montrose. Memorials may be sent to Security First Bank, P.O. Box 216, Harrison, NE 69346-0216.

Cicmanec-Pier Funeral Home in Lusk, Wyoming, was in charge of the funeral arrangements.
