Services for Mrs. Shroyer Held May 17
Graveside services for Mrs. Caroline Shroyer of Greybull were held in Lusk at 11:00 a.m. May 17 with the Rev. Harper Hunter, Jr. of Casper in charge, assisted by the Rev. Donald Moore of Lusk. Pallbearers were Wm. Barnes, Chas Smith, Leslie Huff, Everett Smith, Rulo Roberts and Al Taylor.
Caroline Esther Knittle, daughter of Frank and Nettie Knittle was born in Lusk June 7, 1912 and received her education in the Lusk school. She united with the Church of God in 1933. She married the Rev. Orlies F. Shroyer August 11, 1935 and they were the parents of six children. Mrs. Shroyer served in many capacities as her husband ministered nine years in Gillette, eight years in Lusk, and in Greybull since 1954. She died May 13 in Billings, Mont. after a long illness.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Eldora North of Guernsey and Vonda Lee; four sons, Frank of the U.S. Air Force, Anchorage, Alaska, Earle Lewis, Dennis Eugene, and Gary Wayne of the family home; a sister, Mrs. Mable Milburn of Aurora, Ore.; two brothers, Albert Knittle of Cheyenne, and Otto Knittle of Lusk.
