Barney Stallman Funeral Friday

Funeral services for Barney Henry Stallman, 81, a resident of Niobrara County since 1914, were held from the Peet Chapel in Lusk Friday morning. Burial was in the Lusk Cemetery. Mr. Stallman died in the Niobrara Memorial Hospital August 15.

Father Tracy of St. Leo's Catholic church of Lusk officiated. Music was furnished by Mrs. A. F. DeCastro.

Casket bearers were Dick Lee, Jim McAllister, Dick Heine, Bill Nuttal, Dave Bryant and Bud Hoblit.

He was born October 19, 1885 at Templeton, Iowa. He homesteaded at Keeline in 1914. Mr. Stallman married Hattie Bridge, September 14, 1918.

Survivors include his widow, Hattie, one daughter, Mrs. Dale Anderson, Riverton; five sons, Clyde of Broadus, Mont., Jim of Jackson, Dale of Sheridan, John and Willis of Lusk, one brother, Jake of Torrington and a sister Regina Crowel of Azusa, Calif.; and numerous grandchildren.
