George Stewart Dies Friday

George Stewart, 58, rancher of the Lost Springs area, died Friday evening of a severe stroke at the Converse County Memorial Hospital in Douglas.

Mr. Stewart had gone to Douglas on business and took suddenly ill around noon. He went to the home of his brother, Pat, where a doctor was called. He was immediately taken to the hospital where he lived a short time.

Funeral services were conducted from the Stark Funeral Home in Douglas, Tuesday afternoon. Burial was in the Douglas Cemetery.

Survivors include his mother, Nettie Stewart of the family home, two brothers, Pat of Douglas and Yank of Gillette; one sister, Mrs. Ernie Worrell of Douglas.
