Hilda Teske Dies At Torrington

Hilda I. Teske, 61, sister of Dick and George Herren, died last Wednesday in the Torrington hospital.

Born Jan. 10, 1911, at Solomon, Kan., her parents homesteaded near Van Tassell when she was an infant. She attended grade school in Van Tassell and graduated from Torrington High School. She was married to James Otto Teske on March 18, 1933, in Scottsbluff. He died in 1959.

Survivors: Daughters Jeanne Harriman of California and Jackie Samson of Torrington; sons Jim, Jerry, Don, Bob, Roger and Bill, all of Torrington; brothers Dick Herren of Harrison, George of Crawford and Clyde of Brawley, Calif.; sister Cora Shelley also of Brawley; 12 grandchildren; one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, one son and one daughter.

The funeral service was held Sunday at 3:00 p.m. at the Colyer Funeral Home in Torrington, the Rev. Frederick Danforth officiating. Burial was in Valley View Cemetery in Torrington. Attending from Harrison were Mr. and Mrs. Dick Herren and Kim, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Broderick and Susie, Mr. and Mrs. John Broderick and grandsons Brent and Mark.
