Loyd Vermeule

Niobrara County, native Loyd (Shorty) Vermeule died at South Big Horn County Hospital outside of Basin last Saturday. He was 71.

The son of Mrs. and Mrs. Charles Vermule, he was born near Lusk on March 19, 1908.

He had worked as a sheepherder in the Hyattville area for about 15 years.

Mr. Vermuele leaves no known survivors.

A service was held at the Hyattville Church on Monday and a graveside service was held at the Lusk Cemetery the next day.

Peet Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
