Kenneth Mack Willson

Kenneth Mack Willson, 950 Tiffany Place, Longmont, Colo., died July 3 in Longmont. He was 84.

He was born March 6, 1896, at Lusk, the son of Eugene and Isabel Mack Willson. He married the former Maxine Claflin at River Forest, Ill., on June 7, 1924.

He was a graduate of Lusk High School and received a bachelor's degree and a master's degree from the University of Colorado.

He served in the U.S. Army during World War I.

He was a petroleum geologist and a consultant for Three States Natural Gas Co. He was a resident of Longmont for more than two years. He lived in Boulder for four years, coming there from Carmel, Calif.

Mr. Willson was a member of the Episcopal Church, the Masonic Lodge, Sigma Nu Fraternity and was a lifetime member of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists.

Survivors include his wife; a son Kenneth Willson, Jr. of Boulder; a daughter, Barbara Willson James of New Orleans; two brothers, Eugene of Lusk, and Fred of Denver; and eight grandchildren.

Funeral service was held July 7 in St. Aidan's Episcopal Church with the Rev. A. B. Patterson, Jr. officiating.
