Memorial Services were held Saturday, April 2, at Memorial Chapel Funeral Home and Crematory with Rev. Gene Hagerman, of the First United Methodist Church, officiating.

Mrs. Winfield passed away on March 30, 1994 at her home. She was born on March 7, 1933, in Lusk to John and Doris Lorenzen. She grew up and attended schools in Lusk, graduating from the Lusk High School. She then attended Chadron State Teachers college, and then graduated from the University of Colorado. She was married on June 11, 1955 in Lusk to Jim Winfield. The couple moved to Casper in 1956. She was employed as a medical technician and cytologist with Medical Laboratory of Casper for 35 years. Her hobbies included bridge, golf, and china painting.

Survivors include her husband Jim Winfield of Casper; a daughter, Marilee Pickering of Casper; a son, Bill Winfield of Albuquerque, NM; a brother, Ed Lorenzen of Farmington, NM; a sister-in-law, Wanda Lorenzen of Lusk; three grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, David Lorenzen.

Memorials may be sent to the Shriners Hospital for Crippled Children, Virginia Street at Fairfax, Salt Lake City, UT 84103.
