Rose Marie Wolfe

Funeral services for Rose Marie Wolfe, 82, were held Friday, March 17, at Cicmanec-Pier Funeral Home with the Rev. Don Chanslor of the Congregational Church officiating. Interment was in the Lusk Cemetery.

She died March 14, 2000, at Michael Manor in Douglas.

She was born May 28, 1917, in Crawford, Neb., to Arthur and Eva (Beem) Hitchcock.

She married Ben Wolfe on Oct. 6, 1934, in Hot Springs, S.D. They lived in Lusk for most of their lives except for a few months in Kansas and several years in Casper. She enjoyed her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She liked working in her yard and had many beautiful roses and flowers.

She was a member of the Congregational Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one grandson.

Survivors include one son, Sheridan Wolfe of Casper, one daughter Donna Pennington and her husband of Lost Springs; three sisters: Ruth Fleming and Ruby Brown of Lusk, and Fern Wolfe of Casper, four grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

A memorial has been established to the Congregational Church in Lusk.

Cicmanec-Pier Funeral Home of Lusk was in charge of arrangements.
