In January, 1984, Barb Hahn was appointed as acting Lusk Town Clerk. She started working for the Town as Deputy Town Clerk June 1, 1981 and has held that position ever since (The Lusk Herald, January 12, 1984.)

Barbara Joan Hahn Wright
Barbara Joan Hahn Wright was born March 6, 1963 in Lusk, the youngest child of Sigmund "Pete" and Ruth (Sprengeler) Hahn. She was baptized at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Lusk.
After graduation from Niobrara County High School in 1981 she worked for the town government, later rising to the position of Town Clerk.
She married Daniel P. Wright on June 22, 1985 in Westminster, Colo. They resided in Laramie for a short time and then relocated to the Denver, Colo. area.
She was employed by American Medical Response Company, advancing to Accounting Manager.
Prior to her illness, she was attending Metro State College to further her knowledge in the field of accounting.
In addition to her husband, daughter Alyssa and parents, she is survived by one brother Paul Hahn of Houston, Texas; and three sisters, Carol Ott and Judy Talbot, both of Denver, Colo., and Susan Tucker of Riverton, Wyo.
