Funeral services for Sadie A. Bartow, 60, were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 27, 1990 at the First United Church of Christ with Reverend V. Howard Campbell officiating, assisted by Rick Carroll. Burial was in Valley View Cemetery. Memorial gifts to the Wyoming Lung Association would be appreciated by the family. Mrs. Bartow died at Community Hospital in Torrington, Wyo. on Thursday, March 22, 1990.

She was born November 20, 1929 at Milburn, Nebr., the daughter of James and Mary (Tyson) Gladson and she grew up and received her early education there. The family moved to Lusk, Wyo. where she finished her schooling and worked in Lusk cafes for several years. She married Harold "Rusty" Bartow in Lusk on January 7, 1949. In 1950 they moved to Torrington and over the years she worked at Sagers Cafe, Bob Randolph's Steaks House, Trail Hotel and Stroud's Market. She was also a manager for Tupperware for several years. She retired in 1979 due to ill health.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church. She loved people and was a leader of the Christian Youth Fellowship at the First Christian Church in the 1960's. She also served as Democratic precinct chairperson for many years.

She is survived by her husband Rusty; son, Harold W. Bartow, Jr.; and daughter Katherine Beaman, all of Torrington; a brother, Virgil Gladson of Nampa, Idaho; a sister, Delores Hayes of Bend, Oregon; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and three brothers.
