Dr. F. H. Wallace, Pioneer Dentist Dies Tuesday. A.M.

Death came to Dr. Francis Harold Wallace, 69, at the Lusk Hospital Tuesday morning after an illness of several months.

A prominent dentist of Lusk and Harrison for the past thirty-six years, Dr. Wallace had a wide acquaintance in both eastern Wyoming and western Nebraska. He was born near Burgessville, Oxford County, Ontario, Canada, April 30, 1875 and came over the border into the United States in 1900 locating in Omaha. In 1908, he moved to Harrison, Neb. where he opened a dental office and has followed that profession all his life.

Dr. Wallace was a schoolmate of Premier MacKenzie-King of Canada, and on occasions corresponded with the Premier.

His wife died a number of years ago and is buried near Harrison.

Surviving Dr. Wallace are two brothers, Oswald Wallace of Norwich, Canada, who arrived in Lusk shortly before his brother died, and Walter G. Wallace of Dobbsferry, N. Y. who will be unable to attend the funeral service. He is also survived by a sister, Mrs. Ernest Moore of Miami, Florida, who is expected to arrive in Lusk on Thursday.

A Masonic service, conducted by Lusk Harmony Masonic Lodge No. 24, will be held in the Peet chapel at one o'clock on Friday March 17 and the remains will then be taken to the Methodist Church in Harrison, where another service will be held at three o'clock, with interment in the Harrison Cemetery, where he will be laid to rest beside his wife.
