Death Takes Mrs. Clifford Blaney

Mrs. Kathryn Marie Blaney, 27, wife of Clifford C. Blaney, died in the Spencer Hospital Sunday at 9:30 p.m. after an illness of nearly two weeks.

Mrs. Blaney was hospitalized at Casper for a week before entering the Spencer Hospital here on October 17. She had undergone surgery October 19.

Kathyrn Marie Richmond was born January 22, 1923. On September 1, l950 she was married to Clifford C. Blaney then of Manville. Mr. and Mrs. Blaney had been living at Edgerton, Wyo. at which time he was employed in the Sussex oil fields.

Surviving Mrs. Blaney in the immediate family are her mother, Mrs. Alice Richmond of Boise, Idaho; a sister, Mrs. Pauline Bowers of New Meadows, Idaho; and a brother, Robert Richmond of New Meadows. Her father and one sister preceded her in death.

Funeral services were being held this Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock from the Peet Chapel with burial being made in the Lusk cemetery. The Reverends Frank Schweissing and Lawrence P. Juell officiated at the services.

Music was provided by the Mesdames Louise Rasmussen, Edna DeCastro, Edna Fullerton and Geraldine Alexander with accompaniment by Mrs. Minerva Watson. Pallbearers for the concluding rites were Jim Bridge, James Leeling, James Mundschenk, Herman Leeling, Eartl Moss and Clyde Rood.

Mrs. Richmond was in Lusk at the time of Mrs. Blaney's death. Other relatives coming at the word of her death were her sister and husband, Mr. and William Bowers of New Meadows, Idaho; her brother and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Richmond, New Meadows; and an uncle and auth, Mr. and Mrs. Jake Piece of Denver.
