Roy Pennington Dies Here Tues.

Roy J. Pennington, 57, a resident of this area for 29 years, died early Tuesday morning in the Memorial Hospital. He suffered a severe heart attack November 16 but appeared to be recovering satisfactorily.

Funeral services will be held at the Peet Chapel at 2:00 p.m. today with the Rev. Frank Bozart in charge. A quartet composed of Mrs. Robert Bramlet, Mrs. James Berry, Harry Lyon and Dr. Richard Collins will sing "Abide With Me" and "Sweet By and By" with Mrs. J.P. Watson as organist. Pallbearers are Beryl Fullerton, Wilbur Wright, Henry Amend, Wayne Bible, Otto Bible and Walter Hoge. Burial will be in the Lusk Cemetery.

Roy James Pennington was born in Lost River, Ida. July 9, 1903. He came with his parents, Charles and Lettie Pennington to the Lost Springs community in 1921. He married Bernice Mildred Pearce June 6, 1923 and they were the parents of four children. He was employed by the Chicago and Northwestern Railroad until settling on a ranch north of Lost Springs in May 1929. He was also in the trucking business. Mr. and Mrs. Pennington moved to Lusk in 1955 where he was employed by the Wyoming Revenue Department.

Survivors include his wife, Bernice, two daughters, Mrs. Leona Jean Canada of Los Angeles, Calif. and Mrs. Charlene Glandt of Lander; two sons, James R. of Lusk and Ted L. of Lost Springs; one brother, Leslie R. Pennington of Sheridan; and five grandchildren.
