Oscar Bostromís Brother Killed Accidentally With Gun at Worland
Adolph Bostrom, 44, Worland contractor and brother of Oscar Bostrom of Lusk, was accidentally killed by a gun in his own hands last Thursday afternoon.
A coronerís jury Saturday ruled the death accidental after deliberating only a short time. The shooting occurred about 1:30 p.m. Thursday in a small one-room house in the rear of a duplex owned by Bostrom. Two men in the room with Bostrom at the time were identified by investigating officers as Oscar Bergan and Gunnar Erickson, both of Worland.
One of the men, who lived in the house, worked for Bostrom. Bostrom had left some hunting equipment in the house since last fall. While talking to the men as he sat on the bunk, he reached into the corner and picked up the 30-30 rifle to examine it. The bullet entered the skull below the right eye and went out the top left side of the skull.
Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Bostrom and daughter Judy, went to Worland Friday morning and returned Tuesday. Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon at St. Lukeís Lutheran Church.
