Grandmother of Mrs. Jennings Ruffing Dies

Mrs. Nola Durham, grandmother of Mrs. Jennings Ruffing of Lusk, died at Centralia, Wash., on February 4, where she was making her home with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. John T. Anstice, who are also former residents of Lusk.

The remains are to be shipped to Chester, Nebr., for burial, but because of the snowbound conditions of Nebraska railroads, the trip had not been undertaken yet, the end of the past week.

Grandmother of Mrs. Jennings Ruffing Dies


Mrs. Jennings Ruffing has received word that her mother, Mr. John T. Anstice, is on her way to Chester, Neb., accompanying the remains of Mrs. Nola Durham, mother of Mrs. Anstice, who will be buried in the family plot in the Nebraska town.

Mrs. Durham died at the Anstice home at Centralla, Wash., on February 4, but the burial has been delayed because of the deep snows at Chester.

Mrs. Anstice will visit her daughter and family in Lusk shortly.
