Frank Bonsell Funeral Friday

Funeral service was held Friday morning at 10:00 a.m. at the Peet Chapel for Frank Raymond Bonsell, 68, who died at Lusk February 20.

The Rev. Robert Boutwell of the Congregational Church conducted the service. Mrs. A. F. DeCastro, organist, accompanied Tim Johnson as he sang "Going Down the Valley" and "The Old Rugged Cross". Interment was in the Lusk Cemetery with military honors by Weiten Dupes Legion Post #4.

Casket bearers were John Goddard, Ed Cook, Bud Hoblit, Harold Rogers, Frank Christian and Joe Klemke.

Frank Raymond Bonsell was born October 22, 1904 at Lusk to William H. and Louise E. Bonsell.

His childhood was spent on the O W ranch 14 miles north of Lusk. Ray, as he was known, worked on various ranches in this area except for the time he spent in the U.S. Navy during World War II from October 1, 1942 until November 20, 1945.

He is survived by a brother Russell Bonsell, Ekalaka, Mont., a sister, Mrs. Lydia Larsen of Gering, Neb., and numerous nieces and nephews. His parents and five brothers died previously.
