Myrrel Pavlacky Vodopich

WHITTIER, Calif. - Myrrel Pavlacky Vodopich, 95, of Whittier, died Saturday, May 17, 2008, at the Augustine Cottage Elderly Care Home in Whittier.

She was born on Nov. 23, 1913, at Lynch, Neb., and graduated from Lusk (Wyo.) High School in 1933.

She married Victor Vodopich and they lived in Terry until his death in 1947. She worked and resided in Lead before moving to California in 1960. She was employed by Orhbachs Department Store until she retired.

She is survived by her daughter, Evelyn Lehman (Robert), Deadwood; two sons, Robert Vodopich (Maxiene), Spearfish, and George Vodopich (Karen), Williams, Ariz.; 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and her twin brother Marvin Pavlacky, Sacramento, Calif.

She was preceded in death by her parents and seven brothers and sisters.

Arrangements are pending with Fidler-Isburg Funeral Chapel of Spearfish.

Myrrel Pavlacky Vodopich, 95, Whittier, Calif., died Saturday, May 17, 2008, at the Augustine Cottage Elderly Care Home in Whittier. Graveside memorial services will be at 10 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 1, 2008 at Terry Cemetery, with Father Kerry Prendiville officiating.

Myrrel was born on Nov. 23, 1913, at Lynch, Neb., and graduated from Lusk (Wyo.) High School in 1933. She married Victor Vodopich and they lived in Terry, until his death in 1947. She worked and resided in Lead before moving to California in 1960. She was employed by Orhbachs Department Store until she retired.
