Wm. T. Packard, veteran railroad man, died while sitting in his chair, at Van Tassell, at 6 o'clock last Saturday evening, from heart failure.

Mr. Packard had been in good health and worked up until last Wednesday afternoon, when he laid off to take a rest. His death was quite unexpected.

Services were held at the Methodist Episcopal Church in Crawford last Monday, with George Earl Peet of Lusk in charge of arrangements.
