Sister of Mrs. Bass Dies in Torrington
Mrs. Martin Holmes, sister of Mrs. L. J. Bass, died at her home east of Torrington at 2:45 p.m. Sunday following a prolongeed illness.
Funeral services were conducted in the Episcopal Church of Torrington at 2:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon. Burial was made in the Torrington cemetery.
Mrs. Elsie Holmes was a former resident of Lusk at which time she was employed with the First National Bank.
Survivors in the immediate family include: her husband, Martin Holmes; her mother, Mrs. Paulson of Beresford, S. D.; five sisters and four brothers.
Those from Lusk attending the funeral services other than the relatives were: Mrs. L. A. Wood, Mrs. Grace E. Kuns, Mrs. Mable Edmondson, Mrs. Val Jessen, Mrs. Olive Johnson, Mrs. S. W. Boyd and Mrs. C. Art Whelan.
