Denise Joann Armstrong-Shuster

A service celebrating her life was held at the Campbell County Cemetery Shelter Monday Aug. 18, 2008.

Denise was born Nov. 4, 1956 in Lusk, Wyo., to Dave and Jane (Lehman) Armstrong. Her family moved to Gillette in 1961 where Denise lived most of her life. She graduated from Campbell County High School in 1975.

In 1978 she married Scott Shuster and had two children. Denise then moved to Greeley, Colo., where she met Gordie Naugle her lifelong companion. In 1991 she and her family returned to Gillette to further Deniseís education and received her Associate of Science degree.

Denise enjoyed all types of crafts. She also loved her dogs as if they were her children. She worked more than 20 years in the medical bookkeeping/billing field and always left a wonderful lasting impression on all the people she came in contact with.

Denise is survived by: close companion Gordie Naugle of Gillette, Wyo.; son Jason Shuster of Gillette, Wyo., daughter Krista Shuster of Cheyenne, Wyo., sister Donna Heald of Weston, Wyo., sister Debra Shaw and husband Scott of Gillette, Wyo. She was preceded in death by her husband Scott Shuster, both parents Dave and Jane Armstrong, and her brother David Armstrong.
