Mrs. Laura Wilson Dies at Billings, Mont.

Mrs. Lyle Miles of Reno Junction was in Lusk last week and she had received a letter from Charles Wilson of Billings, Mont., telling of the death of his mother, Mrs. Laura E. Wilson, and as the Wilson family are former residents of Lusk, Mrs. Miles felt that their friends here would be interested in the information.

Mr. Wilson was employed as switchman here on the Chicago & North Western Railroad and was accidentally killed some 25 or more years ago while at work.

Mrs. Wilson and her son, Charles, then moved to Chadron and later to Billings, Mont., where she died Sept. 25. She was suffering from cancer and fell and broke her hip just four days previous to her death.

Word was received by friends, telling of the death of the late Mrs. Laura E. Wilson, former resident of Lusk, which occurred on Thursday, September 25th, at the Deconness Hospital in Billings, Mont.

Mrs. Wilson had been in poor health for a number of years, but on Sunday, September 21st, had suffered a broken hip when she slipped and fell on the kitchen floor of her home.

The Wilson family resided in Lusk in the early twenties, and after the death of the father, who was killed in a railroad accident, Mrs. Wilson and son, Charles H.
