Mrs. Art Orr Dies Saturday
Mrs. Art Orr, a resident of Lance Creek for 21 years, died Saturday, after falling and suffering a fractured pelvis in Evanston. Mr. and Mrs. Orr had celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary in 1960.
She is survived by her husband, Art C. Orr, four sons, Clarence O. of Hinsdale, Ill., Duane and Jerry of Powell, Wyo., and Paul of Denver; one daughter, Mrs. Helen Rogers of Fort Collins; 12 grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
The funeral services were held at the Peet Mortuary Wednesday at 2:00. The Rev. William Fredrickson officiated. Mrs. Lyle Eddy sang, the Rebekah Lodge conferred the services in the chapel and Mrs. Edna DeCastro played the organ.
Active pallbearers were: Chester Stubson, Ivan Maxwell, Lester Meade, Barney Kiever, E. Cobb, and Richard Kant. The Honorary pallbearers were: Fred McNeil, Ray Austin, Andy Neilson, Lindon Nelson, and Bud McDaniels, and Charles Lee.
Graveside services were held at the Lusk cemetery.
