Services for William Goatley Are Held Friday

Services for William J. Goatley were held at Colyer Funeral Home in Torrington at 2:00 p.m. Friday, with graveside services in Lusk at 4:00 p.m. the services were in charge of the Rev. Dean Donner, a nephew of Mr. Goatley.

Mr. Goatley was born Feb. 17, 1883 at Moweaquia, Ill., and married Emma Miller at Burwell, Nebr., September 22, 1909. He had resided in Nebraska, Kansas and California, living in Lusk a short time before moving to Torrington 13 years ago. He was a retired farmer.

Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Mrs. LaVeda Schofield of Casper, Mrs. Iris Mangus of Lusk and Mrs. Margaret Mangus of Torrington; one sister, Mrs. Mattie Donner of Burwell; seven grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
