Cousin of Local Men Dies in Wheatland

Charles Gowans, 75, cousin of Andrew and Ray Christian of Lusk, died in Wheatland Aug. 27 following a heart attack.

Funeral services were conducted in Wheatland Aug. 29 with Andrew Christian and James H. Christian of Harrison, another cousin, attending.

Mr. Gowans was well known in this area as he rode for many years in the roundups. Among the survivors are his widow, Mable Gowans of Wheatland.
