Lyle Joss is dead. These sad words reached Manville last Tuesday and cast a shadow of gloom over the entire community. His death occurred Tuesday morning at the Lusk hospital following an operation for adnoids, he failed to recover from the anesthetic. Lyle was known to all as a happy, healthy, and good hearted boy of about 12 years of age, the only child of Mr. and Mrs. Chris Joss, and altho his death brings deepest sorrow to all who knew him, the anguish and pain of the bereaved parents is doubtless unbearable and the heartfelt sympatHies of thier many friends are extended to them.

The funeral services were held at Lusk Wednesday afternoon.
