The following articles are courtesy of the Wyoming Newspaper project. The first is from The Lusk Herald, and the second from The Lusk Standard.

The Van Tassell friends of Mr. and Mrs. N. J. Crelly sympathize most deeply with them over the loss of their son Hewitt who passd away on Christmas Day, his death being the result of an attack of influenza.

He was born in Benton County, Ia., and came here with his parents in March, 1911; at the time of his death he was aged 16 years, 11 months and 14 days. Besides his parents he is survived by three brothers and three sisters who mourn his early demise.

The remains were laid to rest in the Van Tassell cemetery.
