Old Time Resident Dies in California

Word has been received in Lusk of the death of Samuel H. "Bert" Case, 75, at Napa, Calif., Aug. 16.

Mr. Case will be remembered by old timers of Lusk as he lived here for many years in the early 1900's where he operated a dray line. On Nov. 4, 1903 he was married to Miss Winifred Allen at Manville and the couple later moved to Crawford, Nebr., where Mrs. Case died in the '20's.

Mr. Case was born at Davenport, Iowa, June 30, 1879 and was one of nine children. Only two sisters survive: Mrs. Mae I. Rickerson of Los Angeles and Mrs. Clara B. Fuchs of Scotch Plains, N. J.

He was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Crawford and was given a Masonic funeral at Riverside, Calif., Aug. 2.
