Lewis Lind received word yesterday to the effect that his wife, who had been sent to Omaha some two or three weeks ago for medical treatment at the Methodist hospital, had died. An operation was performed on her a few days ago, but it seems she was too weak to stand it, and after a few days lingering, she expired. The remains will be brought to Lusk tomorrow and laid to rest in the Lusk cemetery. This is a sad affair and will be a hard blow to the husband and children. The entire community extends its sympathy to the bereaved relatives in this, their dark hour of sorrow.
