George Key Passes Away at Lance Ck.

George Key, 71 year old resident of Lance Creek passed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Edith Hashman, Sunday afternoon at three o'clock. The cause of his death was chronic myocarditis.

Funeral services were held at the Peet chapel at 2:20 o'clock Tuesday afternoon with the Rev. George Jenkins officiating. Interment was made at the Lusk cemetery.

He is survived by six children - three daughters, Mrs. Edith Hashman of Lance Creek, Mrs. Jack Clauf of Omaha, Nebr. and another daughter whose whereabouts is unknown - also three sons whose locations are unknown.

Mr. Key was a farmer for many years until a misfortune which left him an invalid made him retire from that occupation. He was born in England February 13, 1865, coming to America in his youth.

The music was furnished by Mrs. Agnes Taylor. She sang "In the Sweet Bye and Bye" and "Nearer My God to Thee." The pallbearers were Charles Scace, John Rice, Melvin Peet, Sterling Kelly, Earl Maxwell and Laverne Jess.
