Charles Eutsler Dies Here Sunday

Charles H. (Jing) Eutsler, 56, of Lusk, died Sunday morning in the Spencer Hospital from a bleeding ulcer.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:00 p.m. from Peet Chapel with burial in the Manville Cemetery.

Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Orval Dryer of Manville, Mrs. Earl Bowlds, Livingston, Mont., and two brothers, Earl Eutsler and Leo R. Eutsler both of Lusk.

Charles Eutsler Funeral Services Are Held Friday


Funeral services for Charles H. (Jing) Eutsler, 56, of Lusk, who died April 12 at the Spencer Hospital from a bleeding ulcer, were held Friday at 2:00 p.m. from Peet Chapel with Rev. Jacob Nein officiating. Burial was in the Manville Cemetery. Final military rites were accorded the deceased by the American Legion, Wieten Dupes Post No. 4.

A mixed quartet composed of Mrs. Otha B. Holcomb, Mrs. Hobart Cockreham, Jessie Rice and E. E. Davenport sang "Old Rugged Cross" and "Rock of Ages." Mrs. A. F. DeCastro was organist.

Active pallbearers were Arthur D. Eutsler, Harold Eutsler, Jim Dryer, Orville Dryer, Donald Dryer and Frank Dryer. Honorary pallbearers were William Dryer, Addison Eutsler, Richard Eutsler, Jim Eutsler and Bob Eutsler, all nephews of the deceased.

Charles Harold Eutsler was born April 6, 1903 at Glendo, the youngest son of Charles A. and Millie L. Eutsler. He attended the Manville Schools and spent his early years on the home ranch.

In the early 1930's he moved to Laramie and ranched there until he sold his home and joined the Navy on October 30, 1943. Being honorably discharged in August, 1945. The remainder of his years were spent with his brothers.

He was a member of the American Legion, Wieten Dupes Post No. 4 at Lusk and was baptised in the Congregational Church at Manville in 1908.

Survivors include two brothers, Thomas Earl and Leo R. of Lusk; two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Dryer of Manville and Mrs. Pearl Bowlds of Livingston, Mont., and numerous nephews and nieces.

His parents and four brothers, James Arthur, Edward Claude, Charles Theodore and John William previously died.

Out-of-town relatives here for the funeral were Mrs. Eldon Sipes, Lubbock, Texas; Mrs. Earl Bowlds, Livingston, Mont.; Mr. and Mrs. Addison Eutsler, Jersey City, J. J.; Mr. and Mrs. Don Dryer and family, Tacoma, Wash.; Mr. and Mrs. Bill Dryer and family, Mr. and Mrs. Orville Dryer, Mr.and Mrs. James Dryer, Casper; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Dryer, Saratoga; Mr. and Mrs. Harold Eutsler and family, Linch; Mrs. Dale Truman, Edgemont; Mr. and Mrs. Darrel Deuel, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Cole, Wheatland and Mr. and Mrs. Louis J. LaBounta and family, Laramie.
