Death of LIttle Mary Ryan
The following articles, published in the Niobrara County News, are courtesy of the Wyoming Newspaper Project.
Mary Ryan, the sweet and lovely little girl, who has brightened the home of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Ryan for the past two years, was taken from them by death last Friday morning at about 4 o'clock December 14, after a few days illness with throat trouble at the home of her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Bowen, near Jireh.
Words cannot express the sympathy and sorrow which the community holds for the bereaved and grief (stricken) parents in the loss of their only child.
The burial services were conducted by Rev. O. C. King at (Dellview) Cemetery at Manville on Sunday morning.
Card of Thanks
To our many kind friends who so graciously assisted us through our hour of deepest sorrow when our sweet little girl was taken from us we wish to express our sincere thanks and appreciation, also for the lovely floral offerings.

THEY ARE MINE
In Memory of Little Mary Ryan
Our baby lamb has gone to be an angel bright,
She closed her little eyes in death last night
Little darling we did love her so
Yet her Savior loved her too, you know,
He called her and took her in His arms,
Now she is sheltered from all harm.
Those little lambs are of my fold
In His precious word we are told
The Good Shepherd leadeth them into pastures green,
And by the still waters they are seen,
No wicked wolf can kill and slay
For within the fold they safely lay.
It was the good Shepherd's last command,
He sayed to Peter, "Feed my lambs,"
The lamb of God who died on the tree,
For to redeem those little lambs and you and me.
