Mrs. Myrtle Ong Dies in Cheyenne

Mrs. Myrtle Ong of Lance Creek died in DePaul Hospital in Cheyenne last Thursday after a short illness.

Funeral services were held at St. George's Episcopal Church at 2:00 p.m. Monday with the Rev. Theodore Foster officiating. Mrs. J. P. Watson was organist. Pallbearers were: Art Joss, Charles Abbott, Zener La Fleiche, O. W. McDaniel, Dale Henton and Chas. Lee. Burial was in the Lusk Cemetery.

Mrs. Ong came to Lance Creek in 1947. She married Leonard Ong in 1956. He died in May, 1960. She was a member of Black Gold Rebekah Lodge of Lance Creek and Mariposa Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star in Manville.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Bobbie Quisenberry of Laramie, and Mrs. Constance Miller of Lusk; one sister, Mrs. Faye Redfern of Seattle, Wash.; three brothers, Dean Hendricks of Poteau, Okla.; Clifford Hendricks of Glenrock; Ernest Hendricks of Kansas City, Mo.; and five grandchildren.
