Funeral Notice Beverly Bonsell

Beverly Bonsell, age 78, of Lusk passed away Monday evening at the Wyoming Medical Center in Casper, Wyo. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012 at the First Baptist Church in Lusk with Pastor Tom Strock officiating. Interment will follow in the Lusk Cemetery. Pier Funeral Home in Lusk is in charge of the arrangements.

Beverly Anne Bonsell


Beverly Anne Bonsell, 78, went to join her loving husband, Roger in heaven on Oct. 15, 2012. Beverly was born on April 2, 1934 to Roy and Hazel Walker, the youngest of four children. A lifetime resident of Lusk, Wyoming, she raised her family with her husband of 58 years.

Beverly married Roger on June 21, 1953 and together they raised six children. Beverly took pride in being a committed member of the First Baptist Church for over 50 years. She was interested in Wyoming history, politics and valued education. She will be fondly remembered cooking and baking for friends and family. She enjoyed caring for the elderly and ill and was an excellent caregiver.

Beverly was preceded in death by her brother, William; her sisters, Lois Weber and Joyce Cordes; her son William Bonsell, and two granddaughters, Chelsea Bonsell, and Jenny Lewellyn. She is survived by her four sons and one daughter: Robert L. (Tammy), Lusk; Connie (Rick) Lewellyn, Wenatchee, Wash.; John ( Dana), Omaha, Neb.; Jim (Jessie), Lusk; Cory (Nancy), Omaha, Neb.; his seven grandchildren: Roger (Melissa) Bonsell, Carewood, ID; Ben (Anne) Bonsell, Lusk; Jamie Lewellyn, Walla Walla, Wash.; Kadence (Wesley) Maier; Pullman, Wash., Amanda (Adam) Nielson, Omaha; Brandon and Austin Bonsell, Omaha; four great-grandchildren: Clayton, Summer, Samson and Brixley, Lusk; and numerous special nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at the First Baptist Church in Lusk on Sat., October 20, 2012, with Pastor Tom Strock officiating. Interment was at the Lusk Cemetery. Memorials can be made to the First Baptist Church.

Pier Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
