Funeral here for Charles Kabler

Funeral service for Charles Kabler, 78, was held Thursday in Peet Mortuary Chapel at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Frank Bozart and Odd Fellows Lodge officiating. Mrs. Edna DeCastro, organist, accompanied Tim Johnson as he sang "Beyond The Sunset" and "Rock of Ages."

Casket bearers were Bill Hoblit, Bud Hoblit, Jerry Hollon, Jim Smith, Jay Smith and Bernard Thon. Burial was in the Lusk Cemetery.

Charles "Sandy" Kabler was born Dec. 24, 1898, in Sheldon, Mo. He was a member of the Baptist Church. He married Bernice Ann Hoblit in 1931 at Casper where he lived most of his life. Mrs. Kabler died May 25, 195? (unreadable). He lived in Lamar, Mo. the past 5 years. He was a retired electrician. Mr. Kabler was a member of the Odd Fellows and Moose Lodge.

Survivors include a son, Charles H. Kabler, Houston, Texas, two sisters Miss Ann Kabler, Kansas City, Mo., and Mrs. Edith Rowland, Independence, Mo. and one grandchild.
