Bringham funeral to be Friday

A service for Clarence (Shorty) Bringham, longtime Manville resident, will be Friday, June 15, at 2 p.m. at Peet Mortuary.

Bringham, 64, died of cancer June 10 at the Campbell County Hospital in Gillette.

Bringham was born Aug. 24, 1914, in Owasso, Okla., the son of William and Annie Bringham.

He married Mildred Kittelman, Sept. 30, 1943, in Lusk. They were the parents of four sons.

Bringham served in the U.S. Air Force in World War II. After his discharge, he settled in the Manville area where he resided until his death.

He was employed in the oil field and construction business. At the time of his death, he was employed by Big Horn Construction in Gillette.

Bringham is survived by his wife Mildred; sons Gerald of Casper, Gary of Evansville and Bobby of Mills; his mother, Annie Giannone of Stinnett, Texas; a sister, Opal Baker of Borger, Texas; and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father and one son.

The service will be officiated by the Rev. Frank Bozart. Music will be provided by organist Minerva Watson and Mark Lohr.

Pallbearers will be Ron Leeling, Terry Leeling, Rick Leeling, Paul Hubbard, Kenny Hubbard and Duaine Heine.

Burial will be at the Lusk Cemetery.
