Last Rites Held for Charles Broderick
Charles P. Broderick was born to Charles and Anna Broderick on February 10, 1912, in Harrison. He died November 5, 1969, in Eugene, Ore., of injuries received in an auto accident on September 20.
He attended school in Harrison, graduating from high school with the class of 1930 and spent a few years with the merchant Marine and was with a seismograph crew, traveling to parts of Europe.
He married Margaret Bennett of Portland, Ore., on April 7, 1939.
Survivors include his widow; three sons, Pat in Pacifica, Calif., Larry of Eugene, and Robert at home; two grandchildren, Laurie and Larry of Pacifica; four brothers, John of Harrison, Joe of Lusk, Michael of Scottsbluff, and James of Washington, D.C.
His parents and two sisters preceded him in death.
Mr. and Mrs. John Broderick of Harrison and Joe Broderick of Lusk attended funeral services at Eugene returning Saturday evening.
