MRS. COGESHALL ANSWERS FINAL CALL WEDNESDAY
HAT CREEK RESIDENT DIES AT CRAWFORD HOSPITAL ON SEPTEMBER 28TH
Mrs. Lizzie C. Cogeshall passed away at Crawford, Neb., Wednesday, September 28th.
Mrs. Cogeshall was born in Mt. Verno, Wisconsin on April 7, 1861, being at the time of her passing, 65 years, 5 months and 11 days of age.
She was united in marriage to Chas. H. Cogeshall at Randolph, Ia., on December 5, 1880.
She was a member of the Rebekah lodge and the Methodist church of Clearwater, Iowa.
In 1912 she, with her family came to Wyoming and took up residence on a farm near Hat Creek where she resided until about two months previous to her death when she went to Crawford in search of aid for her failing health.
She leaves to mourn her passing, her husband, Chas. H. Cogeshall of Hat Creek, two sons, Theodore, of Crawford, Fred, of Hat Creek and two daughters, Mrs. Jess Friis of Omaha, Nebr., and Mrs. David Mill of Hat Creek; one son, Bennie, having preceded her in death.
Funeral services were held at the Methodist Church in Crawford last Thursday afternoon, September 30th, and interment was made in the Crawford cemetery.
Note: The obituary states the date of death as Wednesday, September 28th. Wednesday would have been September 29, and the gravestone uses the date September 30. The earliest date is used here, based on the September 30th funeral date reported in the obituary.
