C. M. Simpson, 81, of Medera, CA died Aug. 9, 1987 at his home following a long illness. Simpson was a native of Billings, MT, but was a resident of Medera for 41 years.

He was a member of Medera United Methodist Church, Odd Fellow Lodge, and was employed by Medera County Schools for 18 years before retiring.

Survivors include his wife, Delberta of Medera; one son, Albert Simpson of Cheyenne; one daughter, Joan Mulliner of Temple Hills MD; two brothers, Hal Simpson of Denver and Neil Simpson of Roseburg, OR; two sisters, Lois Goppert of Cody and Eva Dickinson of Albuquerque, NM; and one granddaughter.

Memorial services were held Friday, Aug. 14, at the United Methodist Church. Burial was in Arbor-Vitae Cemetery in Medera.

Jay Chapel in Medera was in charge of arrangements.
