Memorial services for Richard "Buck" Sharp of Harrison, Nebraska were held Saturday, Nov. 8, 1997 at 10:00 a.m. at the Memorial United Methodist Church in Harrison with Rev. Neil Kloppenborg officiating. Mr. Sharp died Nov. 5, 1997 at the VA Hospital in Hot Springs, SD. He was 71 years of age.
Mr. Sharp was born on June 12, 1926 in Hemingford, Nebraska to Romanzo and Stella (Matousek) Sharp.
Mr. Sharp is survived by his step-mother Edna Sharp of Walla Walla, Washington, wife Charlotte Sharp of Harrison, three sons, Roy Sharp of Lusk, Lloyd Sharp of Pueblo, Colorado, and Jay Sharp of Blue Hill, North Carolina; one daughter, Mae Dunn of Harrison; a half-brother Jack Hale of Lewiston, Indiana; half-sister Pat Hermanns of Prescott, Washington; and ten grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Dorris Lance.
A Memorial has been established for the Harrison Rescue Unit. Donations may be sent to Security Bank, P.O.Box 216, Harrison, NE 69346.
Chamberlain Chapel of Crawford, NE was in charge of the services.
