Beatrice Nadine Johnson passed away April 9, 2015 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. She was 80 years old.

Nadine was born on July 3, 1934 to Harry Nelson Curry and Viva Ruth Cooper in Blue Jacket, Oklahoma. She moved to Niwot in 1936 and graduated from the 8th grade at the Niwot School.

She married Doyle Johnson on December 21, 1949; to this marriage was born Darlene Thornton, Leroy Johnson, Don Johnson, and Diane Tadewald.

Nadine worked for the United States Postal Service in Niwot for over 20 years. She retired from the USPS in 1992. Nadine moved to Lusk, Wyoming to be closer to her five grandchildren which were the love of her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents Harry and Ruth Curry; her husband Doyle; oldest son Leroy and youngest daughter Diane.

Nadine is survived by two children Darlene Thornton and husband Bob of Mitchell, Nebraska and Donald Johnson and wife Jeanene of Laramie, Wyoming; brother Carl Curry and wife June of Ava Missouri; five grandchildren Amanda Collins (Brett), Casey Tadewald (Ashley), Stephanie Norris, David Van Gundy, and Jeff Van Gundy (Alicia); 16 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation 5:00-7:00 PM Tuesday April 14, 2015 at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel with family present to greet friends. A funeral service will take place at 10:00 AM Wednesday April 15, 2015 at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel. Interment at Foothills Gardens of Memory. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Lung Association in care of Ahlberg Funeral Chapel. Visit to share condolences.
