Pall bearers were Clarence Patton, Floyd Nagel, Ray DeGering, Albert DeGering, Gene Tyrrel and Warren Larson.

Thomas Lee Lewis was born September 24, 1894 the son of Thomas C. and Theresa Lewis, at his father's homestead on Antelope Creek in Sioux County, Nebr.

On November 4, 1915 he and Elsie Nora Leeling were married. They were the parents of six children. In 1916 he homesteaded on land adjoining his mother's and operated the two ranches as one.

He worked for a time in the Salt Creek Oil Boom, driving four horses doing oil field work and also for the Kicthen Land and Cattle Co. Ranch at Rand, Colo. In 1927 he and his family moved back near the old homestead where he ranched in Sioux County until 1939 when he bought the Ernest Millburn place 5 miles southwest of Lusk. He sold the ranch in 1951 and moved to Lusk where he has made his home.

Survivors include his wife, two sons: Henry W. and Elden Lee of Lusk and two daughters; Mrs. Noal F. Larson of Node and Mrs. Logan Brewster of Tensleep, Wyo. Also his brother Albert W. of Townsend, Tenn, his step-mother Tillie and one uncle, Sam Thomas, Sr. of Lusk and numerous other relatives.

His parents, one brother and a daughter and son previously died.

Note: Though the gravestone has September 28, 1894 as the birthdate, the Social Security Index confirms that the correct birthdate is September 24, 1894.
