Jackson resident Berkland, 89, enjoyed Bible
Anna Elizabeth Berkland, 89, of Jackson died Oct. 23 at the St. John's Living Center in Jackson.
Anna was born June 19, 1912 in Hurtley, Iowa, to John and Gerdinn Ouchen Vosberg.
In 1967 she moved with her family to Jackson. She spent 12 years in Lusk.
She was an active Jehovah's Witness until the time of her stroke. Her true joy in life was to help people learn about the bible. She especially loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Andrea Duffy, of Jackson; two grandchildren, Nikki Dodd and LaRee Tribitt; and four great grandchildren.
Memorial Services were held at 2:30 p.m. Friday at the Kingdom Hall of the Jehovah's Witnesses.
