Wilbur Dale Wright, Keeline, WY, died unexpectedly in Niobrara Community Hospital on Oct. 28, 2019 in Lusk, WY at the age of 79.

Dale is survived by his wife Joan, daughter Anita Witten, son Todd Wright, grandsons Austin Wright and Weston Wright, and numerous cousins and second cousins. Dale is preceded in death by his father: Wilbur F. Wright, November 15, 2004; mother: Ada L. Niehaus Wright, Dec. 23, 2013; and sister: Zadah Ann, March 27, 1950 at the age of 22 months.

Dale was born on Sept 13th 1940 in Powell, Wyoming. He graduated from Lusk High School in 1958 He married Joan Wintermote on June 17th 1961, and they made their home in Douglas, WY. In 1979 they moved east of Douglas where they started working on making their cattle herd. Dale and Joan moved to the east of the Wright homestead on the Ball homestead in 2006.

Honorary Pallbearers are Dennis Johnson, Warren Ransom, Jack Chadwell, Bob Gladson, Ivan Eddy, and Shawn Bruegger.

A memorial service is scheduled for 2 PM Nov. 16th at First Baptist Church, 301 S Elm St, Lusk, WY 82225, and inurnment at the Lusk Cemetery with a reception to follow at the 3 Sisters, located at 11 Lance Creek Hwy, Manville, WY 82227. Tom Strock will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Dale’s life.
