Twin Girls Die Soon After Being Born
The infant twin girls born to Mr. and Mrs. Joe Vaughan of Lance Creek at the Alliance hospital last Wednesday night, died shortly after birth. They had been named Josephine M. and JoDene Marie.
The remains were placed in charge of the Landa Mortuary in Alliance and then shipped to Lusk where burial was made Friday afternoon, A short burial service was conducted at the local cemetery by the Peet Mortuary.
Mrs. Vaughan, who has been very ill since a few weeks to the birth of the twins, is reported as progressing nicely but will remain in the hospital in alliance for some time. She will be remembered in Lusk as Miss Mildred Micek.
