Funeral services for Mrs. Katherine Corbin, who died at Scottsbluff on March 15, were held March 17 at Memorial Methodist Church in Harrison with burial in Harrison Cemetery.
The Rev. J. Lee Gorman officiated. Music was provided by Miss Lilly Larsen, Mrs. John Skavdahl, Mrs. Ted King, Mrs. Gorman, Mrs. William Renning, and Mrs. Charles Mumby with Mrs. Robert Todd as organist.
Mrs. Corbin was born April 2, 1884, in Atlantic, Iowa, and came in Western Nebraska with her parents at an early age, settling north of Harrison. On June 15, 1904, she married Elmus Corbin at Harrison and they lived on a ranch south of that community until 1951 when they moved to Mitchell. Mr. Corbin died in 1968.
Survivors include three sons, George F. of Seattle, Ben of Marsland and Lewis of Harrison; two daughters, Eleanor Anderson of Cheyenne and Mrs. Kathryn Thorson of Mitchell; 12 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, one daughter and 13 brothers and sisters.
A memorial has been established to the Methodist Church in Harrison.
