The latest novel by Susan Elizabeth Phillips is “And the Crowd Went Wild.” After a very public humiliation, actress Dancy Flynn seeks sanctuary with a high school boyfriend she hasn’t seen in two decades. Chicago Stars quarterback Clint Garrett isn’t the boy she remembers. Still holding a grudge against her for breaking his teenage heart, he banishes her to a refurbished railroad caboose in the woods. Dancy isn’t good at staying invisible… and then there is that sizzle of rekindled emotions. “And the Crowd Went Wild” is also available in Libby.

Other new fiction books are “It’s Not Her” by Mary Kubica, “Stolen in Death” by J. D. Robb, “The Last Days of Marilyn Monroe” by James Patterson, “The Color of Hope” by Danielle Steel, “Otherwise Engaged” by Susan Mallery, “Derringer” by William W. Johnstone.

Among the newer non-fiction books is “The Laws of Thought: the Quest for a Mathematical Theory of the Mind” by Tom Griffiths.
